    The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

    Even more dynamic, lighter, more powerful and stunning – the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is the new top model in the Gallardo line- up. Its evocative “superlight” badge refers to a driving machine of true sporting character and describes a high-performance and lean automotive athlete.

    The Gallardo Superleggera, an uncompromisingly high-performance sports car. The Superleggera also has the fastest acceleration in its class. It needs only 3.4 seconds to go from 0-60 mph.

    Alongside its specialized carbon-fiber lightweight components, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera is delivered ex-works with an array of other high-end features. Highlights include the e-gear transmission – a manual gearbox is also available at no additional cost – the dedicated set-up, the Pirelli sports tires and the sports seats. Alcantara upholstery and a hand-stitched steering wheel also set the interior ambiance. The range of special equipment is particularly sporty. It includes carbon- fiber ceramic brake discs, four-point seat belts, fire extinguisher and a steel roll cage. Visual impact can be further increased by a rear spoiler and the engine bay for the engine compartment – both from carbon-fiber – as well as colored brake calipers.

    The Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

    Not just a topless version of the Coupé, but an entirely new model. Its design is clean and sharp, the result of perfect integration between stylistic and functional requirements. The Spyder’s truly innovative soft-top opening/closing system is effected totally automatically in only a few seconds, stowing the roof invisibly under the car’s engine cover.

     


    Lamborghini Gallardo
    The new Lamborghini takes its name from a famous fighting bull breed, selected since the 18th century by bull breeder Francisco Gallardo and then incorporated by Don Antonio Miura.

    Fierce, robust - black or grey - the Gallardo bulls were renowned for their courage and also for their power and aggressiveness until the so-called last ''third'' of the Corrida.

    The new Lamborghini Gallardo is a mid-engined four-wheel drive sportscar in true Lamborghini tradition, powered by an all-new V10 cylinder Lamborghini engine with 5 litres of displacement and a stunning 500 hp. Figures that guarantee outstanding performance.

    Power transmission is through a 6-speed gearbox with a traditional gear shift lever or a new sequential ''e-gear'' with shift paddles at the steering-wheel.

    Production of the all-new Lamborghini V 10 cylinder engine is at the newly built assembly line at Lamborghini's own engine facility at the Sant' Agata Bolognese plant.
      
     
     
     

     
    Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster

    Roadster

    As powerful, fast and extreme as the Coupe version from which it derives, the Lamborghini Murcielago carries on Lamborghini’s twelve cylinder roadster tradition: from the 350 GTS to the Miura Roadster, right up to the most recent Diablo Roadster.

    This has been achieved without compromising the performance expected from a real Lamborghini.

    Thanks to accurate design, the open version also delivers excellent handling, acceleration and driving safety characteristics.

    The Murcielago Roadster version builds on the extreme and exclusive features of the Coupe thus confirming it as a real ''icon'' of the Lamborghini brand.

    The new Lamborghini era started in 2001 with the Murcielago, followed in 2003 by the Gallardo, continues with the arrival in 2005 of the Murcielago Roadster, which enhances and further increases the undisputed value of the Murcielago range.
     
     

    Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Coupe

    Lamborghini has passionately evolved the strengths of the incomparable Murcielago LP 580 into the new Murcielago LP 640 featuring considerable innovations in terms of body design and mechanics. Designers and engineers have not only focused on reworking the engine, suspension, gearbox, exhaust system, brakes and electronics, but also the interior and exterior design; improvements that make the Murcielago LP 640 the most extreme and fastest sports car in its class.

    Unmistakable design: more aggressive carbon fiber body, with the new front and rear bumpers.  Its characteristic scissor doors are created from the prized union of sheet steel and honeycombed carbon fibre, glued and riveted together. The exhaust system terminal has been incorporated in the diffuser on the rear bumper. Other innovations include the rear lights, which enhance the distinguishing features of the Murcielago LP640, making it unmistakable even at night. The rear view mirrors and the windscreen wipers have been modified to improve aerodynamics and “Hermera” light metal wheel rims have been added.

    More powerful engine: power has now been elevated to an impressive peak of 640 hp at 8,000 min with improved torque development. The excellent performance of the Murcielago LP640 means it can now accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than the previous model). The maximum speed is now 212.5 mph (before 206.25) The drivability of the engine is enhanced by a continuous variable timing system (intake and exhaust side) and a drive-by-wire engine management system.

    Gearbox and transmission: the modified six-ratio gearbox as well as a tougher rear differential and new axle shafts feature improved efficiency and strength. The optional e-gear automatic gearbox is also available equipped with the new dedicated “Thrust” (acceleration program) mode.

    Electronics: enhanced engine control units improve engine performance and “drivability” thanks to “closed loop” control design.

    Frame and chassis: perfect harmony enhanced by new springs and stabilizers, as well as redesigned electronically controlled dampers.

    Brakes and safety: optional ceramic carbon brakes 

    Interior: even more exclusive and customized. The seats in the cockpit have undergone the most radical changes; more spacious and equipped with redesigned head restraints, the seats now ensure better comfort. The leather upholstery features lozenge-shaped stitching called "Q-citura". The same design is recaptured on the upholstery on the door panels, the panel between the seats and the engine compartment, and on the roof panel. A new instrument panel has been developed with lights featuring a new graphic design, flanked by a new Kenwood car radio with a 6.5” widescreen monitor and DVD, MP3 and WMA player. An optional navigation system is also available.
